This program is designed to help managers develop the skills, processes, and tools necessary to effectively manage the performance of their teams and individuals. By setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback and coaching, and recognizing and rewarding achievements, managers can drive high performance, engagement, and motivation among their employees.



Key Components


  1. Setting Performance Expectations: Participants will learn how to establish clear, specific, and measurable performance expectations that align with organizational goals and objectives. They will learn techniques for setting SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals and objectives that provide employees with a clear understanding of what is expected of them.
  2. Performance Feedback and Coaching: Effective feedback is essential for helping employees understand how their performance aligns with expectations and identify areas for improvement. Participants will learn techniques for providing constructive feedback that is specific, timely, and actionable, as well as coaching skills to help employees develop their skills and capabilities.
  3. Performance Appraisal and Evaluation: Performance appraisals provide an opportunity for managers to formally review and evaluate employee performance. Participants will learn how to conduct fair and objective performance evaluations, document performance achievements and areas for improvement, and provide employees with meaningful feedback and development opportunities.
  4. Recognition and Rewards: Recognizing and rewarding employee performance is essential for reinforcing desired behaviors and motivating employees to excel. Participants will learn strategies for recognizing and rewarding both individual and team achievements, including monetary and non-monetary incentives, public recognition, and opportunities for career advancement.
  5. Performance Improvement: When performance falls below expectations, managers must take proactive steps to address performance issues and support employees in achieving their full potential. Participants will learn techniques for diagnosing performance problems, identifying root causes, and developing performance improvement plans that address underlying issues and provide support and resources for improvement.
  6. Performance Metrics and Analytics: Effective performance management requires the use of data and analytics to track progress, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Participants will learn how to select and use performance metrics that are relevant, reliable, and actionable, as well as how to analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making.
