Security and Close Protection

The Certificate in Security and Close Protection program is designed for professionals pursuing or advancing careers in high-stakes security roles, close protection, and risk management. • Counter-Surveillance Techniques: Developing techniques for disrupting and evading surveillance efforts, including surveillance detection routes and evasive maneuvers.

• Activity: Participants engage in a field exercise to identify and evade simulated surveillance, refining their counter-surveillance skills.


2. Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT)


• Operating in High-Risk Areas: Understanding the unique risks associated with hostile environments, including conflict zones and unstable regions.

• Crisis Response and First Aid: Learning trauma care and emergency response techniques, including evacuation strategies in hostile situations.

• Cultural Awareness and Local Engagement: Developing the cultural sensitivity needed to operate effectively and safely in diverse environments.

3. Security and Close Protection Officer Training

• Defensive Tactics and Firearms Proficiency: Learning hand-to-hand combat, use of restraints, and firearms handling techniques tailored for close protection scenarios.
